Rhanad It was another day in the painfully hot - or that was what it felt to Rhanad - city of Mesarthim. She had been working on a document, but having been sitting down for hours, she decided that she could take a break. Sighing, she look around her inn room, and decided that exploring the city would be more interesting than staring at the stone walls, even if it was so hot... Wrapping her white scarf around her head, she left the inn and went too see the city.

Gova'ad: Va'ad sits at the entrance of his house. He's been waiting for his brother to come back. He was slightly annoyed that they have left without him. Leaving him with his sister, who's seems to be able to keep chatting even if the air is pretty bare,. He sighs and look around the city. "Another hot day", he thought to himself.

Rhanad The city looked poor, she thought as she walked around. There wasn't bright colours that could be found in Sargas, or the lound sound of merchants and life. And all the people dressed in so revealing clothes! She felt a bit uncomfortable in the clothes she was wearing, as they showed so much skin, but... How could the people of Mesarthim walk around their chest bare or in dresses that didn't even cover their knees! Hunching her shoulders she walked around trying to find a merchant that sold jewelry, or something beautiful that she could bring to her mother when this trip was over. Humping to herself, she wondered if she had already passed this place twice... The man sitting there did seem familiar, she must have walked past him already..

Gova'ad:He turns his sight to the entrance of the town. His brothers left 2 hours ago, so they won't be coming home soon, he thought. Sighing, he stands up and took another look. The street seems to be busy, he recognizes several people from the street. Mr. Gossam, Mrs. Verthe, and he thought he recognizes the boy that walk past him earlier, is walking past him again. Boy, He seems to be in sour mood, he thought as he watched the boy.

Rhanad She paused in her walk and looked around. She seemd to have just walked in circles, if she was once again here. Biting her lip, she wondered if she should ask someone where she could find a jewelry merchant. She was about to go to the man that had been sitting down - the only one who had been staying in one place - but then he got up, and Rhanad eyes widened. The people in this place were huge! "Ch.." Squaring her shoulders, she started to walk towards him. She would never find the place if she didn't talk to a local, even if said local was almost naked and good-looking. Putting up a hopefully pleasant smile, she greeted him. "Good day, sir"

Gova'ad: He watches as the boy walks toward and greet him. A foreigner, he thought when he saw the boy's black hair. He don't really like to talks to stranger, not to mention a foreigner. But the boy seems harmless, he thoughts as he wonder whether he should greet him back or not.

Rhanad So rude, she thought when the man didn't greet him back. But still keeping the smile, she tried to watch the mans face -which was a bit hard as he was so much taller - and not let her eyes wander. "I am very sorry for bothering you, but do you happen to know if there is a merchant here who sells fine jewelry?" she asked, trying not to mind his silence.

Gova'ad: Jewelry? He thought. Why would a man need a jewelry? Must be... Oh well, the faster I show the boy the way, the faster he'll go. He look around the city, remembering the jewelry shop location and start pointing to a road.

Rhanad Were everyone in this city mute or lound drunks? she thought in annoyance as the man pointed a way. Gritting her teeth, she wondered how to answer to that. She had already walked around quite a bit and hadn't found the merchant yet... She would more likely get even more lost. Her smile turning a bit more forced, she looked at the man again. "Thank you very much, but if you would either tell me or show me the way, that wont be that helpful" she tried to look apolegtic "I haven't been here for long you see, and I do not know my way around"

Gova'ad: A newcomer? No wonder he never saw the boy before. He scratched his head, wondering if he should help him or not. Well, it's not like he has anything to do than waiting. He walk past the boy toward the road, and then he turn around to see if the boy is following him.

Rhanad No speaking then? Fine, be silent you Mesarthimian mule... So the men here were fit and good looking, but had no manners at all. A shame really, it would have made the city much more bearable, even if she wouldn't have been able to enjoy the sights that openly... And able to live with the embarrassment. Starting to follow the man who apparently was going to show him where the jewelry merchant was, she gave him a grateful smile "Thank you, sir. This is most helpful of you."

Gova'ad: He grunted as reply as the boy walk towards him. Well, it's a good day to walk actually, he thought as he starts to walk. He nods to a few people he know on the street. He walks for a few steps and looks back to see if the boy is still following him.

Rhanad Rude, rude, rude... She hoped that there would be nice jewelry, maybe she would by something for herself too.... Hurrying behind the man, whose strides were much longer, she noticed him stopping. Hm, she wasn't a kid who you should check on, she could follow him just fine. Cathing up, she decided to stick up a conversation, maybe just to annoy the man, or to check if he really was mute or how long he could go without speaking. "Ah, how rude of me. I am Rhanad Nejeem, from Sargas. I have come here with my partner in hope of doing business deals" she tugged at the white scarf "Would you mind sharing your name with me?"

Gova'ad: "Gova'ad." Va'ad said and start to walk again. They almost near the market now and soon he will be free from the boy. He stretches his arms and yawns. Boy, it is a good day. The hot day makes him sleepy. Maybe he'll take a good nap after this. Nah, his sister would probably bother him if he sleep in the middle of the day. That little brat, he smiled to himself as he turns to look at the boy again.

Rhanad Aha, not mute after all! "Nice to meet your aquintance, Gova'ad" she counted this as a small victory, having gotten the man to speak, even if only his name. She watched as Gova'ad streched. Was he that bored by her company? she wondered, when he turned to look at her again. She frowned "Why do you keep doing that? Turning around"

Gova'ad: He was confused by the question, surely so he could check if the boy is following him? He was the one who ask him to show the direction. He shrugged and scratched his head. Unsure what to say, he look around them. They must be nearing the market, since the street is more crowded than the before. He can spot the jewelry shop too. They just need to cross the market.

Rhanad Argh, so annoying... Why couldn't he just answer the question? With there being more people around, she suffled a bit closer to Gova'ad, not being confortable with crowds, and him being the only somewhat familiar face in it. "So.. Which way is the merchant?"

Gova'ad:He point to the jewelry shop. and start walking toward it. He have never really been to jewelry before. He usually just walks past the shop in the past. He might check the shop later. He stops in front of the shop and check if the boy is with him.

Rhanad She followed the man to the jewelry shop, instantly taking in what they had. Seeing the claws and teeth, she grimaced, she could never bring something like that for her mother. Ugh... The flowers were somewhat interesting, but she doupted that they would survive being brought to Sargas, especially since she had no idea how long they were going to stay in this city. Giving the more beautiful jewelry -in her mind - a quick once over, she was quite sure that she could find better things from Sargas. It would be a waste of money to buy one from here. Turning to Gova'ad, she frowned "Is this the only jewelry merchant in here? This selection is absolutely horrid" she said, ignoring the merchant protest "I absolutely cannot bring something like this to my Mother" giving the teeth a bit discusted look.

Gova'ad: He looks around the shop, taking an interest on a necklace with the eagle claw on it. He turns to Rhanad as he exclaimed about the poor choice of selection. Surely, the boy must be kidding, the jewelry looks pretty adequate to him, though they can't compare to the stuff he and his brother hunted themselves. With confused looks at his face, he show the claw necklace to Rhanad.

Rhanad She couldn't help sniffing in distaste. Gova'ad couldn't be serious about this, but by the look on his face, he was. "No, no." she shook her head "Finely crafted gold or silver bracelets... That is the kind of jewelry I am looking for" she gave the necklace in his hand a look "Not... that"

Gova'ad: He looks at the necklace again and put them in front of his neck, as if trying them on. and then he glances at Rhanad and raise an eyebrow.

Rhanad She would have to find something else for her mother then... She should have know that she wouldn't find fine jewelry in a place like this. Looking at Gova'ad trying the... necklace on, she flushed a bit when he looked at her "Wh-what, are you trying to ask if it fits you or not? If so, why can't you just say that.." looking to the side, she tried to avoid looking at him "I suppose it fits your... style, if I can call it that.." The claw necklace did indeed fit the kind of ragged look Gova'ad was sporing.

Gova'ad: He shake his head. "No." He walks toward Rhanad and put the necklace in front of him, trying to frame it to Rhanad feature. "You." He grins and and hands hims the necklaces.

Rhanad Eyes widening in surprise, she took the necklase, flustered "M-me?" she looked at the thing in her hands, quickly looking back up to Gova'ad "Wh-what would I do with a necklace like this?" it was a part from a dead animal! Not something to wear as jewelry.

Gova'ad:"No?" He didn't understand, the necklace looks pretty good on the boy. He glance at jewelry collection and pick two necklaces with feathers and show them to Rhanad. "This?"

Rhanad She put the necklace down, looking at the new one Gova'ad was presenting to her. Spotting the feathers, she couldn't help but feel offended. Did he think she was poor?! "Absolutely not." She said coldly. Even if her present clothes made her look poor, she refused to wear jewelry that would go along with that.

Gova'ad: Putting the necklaces down, he looks around the shop. Well, he didn't really know what the boy want, and he seems to dislike everything he suggested. Va'ad shrugged and scratch his head. "The thing you want, it's not here?"

Rhanad She sighed in relief. Finaly! "No, it's not. I said gold or silver bracelets, not... necklaces made out of body parts..." she shuddered. "I think I should head back to the inn... This is not going anywhere.." she shook her head. She hoped that she would find her way back to the inn easily enough

Gova'ad:  Seems like the boy wants to leave, he thought. He should really be going home too. His brother will be home soon. "Okay", he said as he walks outside.

Rhanad Waved as goodbye and left to the inn.
